UPDATE 3/23:

Texas Plains Federal Credit Union is an essential business and is remaining open. However in the midst of COVID-19, and following local, state, and federal officials guidelines for the health of our members and staff, our lobbies will have limited access and will be by appointment only starting today March 23rd. Please utilize our drive thru, curbside service, online tools, and ATMs. Please call your local branch for any questions you may have. Stay safe everyone!

Dear Member of Texas Plains Federal,

Like you, we continue to stay informed about developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization and working closely with state and local health officials to keep our members, employees and communities healthy and safe.

We’re living in unprecedented times, and we know the volatility of our markets and evolving news about the COVID-19 pandemic can be concerning. Rest assured knowing you can count on us to be there when you need us most. Texas Plains Federal will remain open and there will be no interruptions in service regardless of any special accommodations to operations that may be taken if needed.  Be assured we are committed to the safety of your accounts and your ability to access those funds during these events.

We are instituting increased cleaning and disinfecting at all branches. In addition, we are trying to limit physical contact by maintaining a safe distance between employees and members whenever possible.

We are also urging members to consider using alternative methods to access credit union services without going to a physical branch. Your credit union has invested much time and money into making sure that many of our services can be accessed via online or mobile app. Please utilize our drive-thru lanes as much as possible during this time. Please call ahead for any assistance so we can have checks, debit cards, or loan papers ready so we may limit any waiting time.

Finally, we know the outbreak could affect our members’ income and their ability to pay bills, and we are reminding members to seek assistance if they need it. Please give us a call if you are having trouble paying your loans, and we will do our absolute best to work with you during this time.

Thank you for being a valued member.

Sincerely,

Kasha Young, President
