Important Requirement for Financed Vehicles
If your vehicle is currently financed through Texas Plains Federal, you MUST obtain a Permission Letter from us before you travel into Mexico.

Request a Permission Letter on official Texas Plains Federal letterhead.

You must have this letter with you when you cross the border.
This requirement helps ensure compliance with your loan agreement and confirms your travel plans with the credit union.
Who Can Apply?
Texas Plains Federal's Mexico Travel Insurance program is exclusively available to our valued credit union members.
Vehicle Owners: If you own your vehicle outright (no loan), this insurance is an excellent option for peace of mind while traveling in Mexico.
Financed Vehicles: If we financed your vehicle, you'll still need your Permission Letter, and getting this insurance policy is the next step to ensure you're fully covered.
